Dear New Parishioner,

Welcome!  You are in the process of signing up to become a registered member of the Infant of Prague Church.  The word “registered” does seem to be a rather cold word and does not convey what we wish it to, namely welcome!  Registering in a church is more than signing up.  It is the acknowledgement of a mutual relationship that exists between us because we are brothers and sisters who share the same faith and hope.

Unfortunately, we tend to forget our oneness and our need for one another.  Yet our heritage is founded on the fact that God calls us to work together in establishing His Kingdom.  So even though there was no fanfare when you registered, we want to assure you that you are welcome and very much a part of our mission to convey the ‘Good News’. 

The pace of our life does not allow too much time for personal visits.  So please accept this letter as a poor substitute for that visit.  Once we have received your registration form we will contact the New Member Welcoming Ministry and ask that they contact you for proper visitation.  Please complete the registration form then call the Parish Office 48 hours after submission to assure receipt of your registration form.

We pray that you will find Infant of Prague Church a place of peace and friendship, its people gracious and kind.

We hope that you will introduce yourself to us some Sunday in the near future so that we might become better acquainted and that we might more formally welcome you.
