WELCOME

Confirmation preparation is a two-year journey intended to help young people who have already received Baptism and First Holy Communion grow in their faith and prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Through weekly classes, community involvement, and frequent recourse to the Sacraments, candidates deepen their relationship with Christ and learn what it means to live as committed Catholics.

Year One
Year One formation begins as early as 9th grade. This is a foundational year that must be completed before Year Two preparatory classes and includes participation in the Deanery Youth Retreat.
Year One
Year Two formation begins as early as 10th grade for all teenagers who have completed Year One and are seeking Confirmation. In this year, candidates will prepare in communion with their peers for reception of the Sacrament. Some requirements expected to be met during this year are regular participation at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, participation in the Deanery Youth Retreat, 8 service credits, and an interview with the Pastor or other formation leader.
