Trivia Night Rules

1. Teams up to 8 players. Pick a team name. Then write your team name on the top of all the answer sheets. **This is VITAL to be able to score your team correctly.**

2. No outside resource material is allowed: the use of cell phones or any other wireless devices is strictly prohibited.
Phones should be placed in the middle of the table. Please leave the room if you need to use your cellphone.

3. Teams will have approximately 1 song to answer the question before the answer is given. Then the next question is read. Please print or write clearly. Correct spelling is not required (unless specified in the category), but it must be clear what the answer is. Choose a point of 1, 3, or 5. Put on your answer card. Bring your card up before the end of the song.

4. Do not shout out answers, even as a joke. It ruins the fun for everyone.

5. Mulligans: Mulligans are purchased before each round and are $10. If you don't know an answer and want to earn the points, use your mulligan as your answer card for that question. Mulligans will be sorted by color for each round. Mulligans CANNOT be used on the wager question or the final question.

6. Wager: At the end of each round, you will have an opportunity to guess the last question. You can wager the points from zero to ten, depending on your confidence level.

7. In the event of a tie, we will have a tie breaker question until a clear winner emerges.

8. Sportsmanship is KEY - have a terrific time, and be respectful of other teams, players, judges, and volunteers.

9. Final Question: At the end of each round, you will have an opportunity to guess the last question. You can wager the points from zero to ten, depending on your confidence level.
